I have a problem with the colors displaying on windows that drives me crazy, for some reason , the colors are graduated, all the drivers are up to date, the zoom recommended by windows is 125%, I thought that's where the problem comes from, but no matter what settings I choose, it doesn't fix the problem. I think you’re 100% correct in assessing that the NVIDIA exo player is the issue here. Using a wider gamut will still result in banding if you are using 8 bit color.
